These Terms and Conditions form part of and are to be read with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy available on www.ncsyes.co.uk, and prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entrants in the Promotion agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Definitions:

“Promoter” or “NCS”: NCS Trust C.I.C.   1 Silchester Road, London, W10 6EX

“Promotion”: the promotion described in these Terms and Conditions’ “Promotional” refers to the Promotion

“Entrant(s)”: A new NCS sign up(s) who has registered and paid for an NCS Programme between January 4th 2016 - February 29th 2016; “new” means that you have signed up since January 4th.                                               

1) This Promotion is open only to Entrants who are residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 16 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with 

this Promotion.  

2) Promotion Period:  The promotion opens on 4th January 2016 and closes on 29th February 2016 (“Closing Date”).  

3) An Entrant will only be eligible to win tickets when: they sign up to an NCS Programme,  payment is confirmed and they opt in to having their name submitted to the prize draw and are at least 16yrs of age on 29.03.2016.

4) To enter:  Entrants can register in two ways:

(i) Online via www.ncsyes.co.uk. The Entrant will be asked to give their first name, surname and email address, and to confirm which NCS Programme they are signing up to, before reaching the payment page. 

(ii) An Entrant can also sign up by providing similar information through the network of one of the Official Providers for NCS.  

5) Eligibility:  After registration and payment for the Entrant has been verified, the Entrant will receive an email which will confirm sign up is complete, and offer the Entrant the opportunity to opt in to the daily prize draw for the NSC YES Live Ticket Draw Promotion from 4 Jan to 29 Feb 2016.  By opting into the draw the Entrant consents to receiving further information from the Promoter for the purposes of this Promotion, to having their name and email address retained by the Promoter should they win in the daily draw, to being contacted by the Promoter to be notified of their win and confirm details and requirements for entry to YES Live, to the publication of their name and the county in which they live and to taking part in publicity in connection with the Promotion. Upon validation of the Entrant’s details and on receipt of a fully paid registration from the Entrant, if the Entrant opts into the draw, the Entrant will be eligible to win a pair of YES Live tickets.The names of all Entrants who opt into the daily prize draw, will remain in the prize draw throughout the Promotional period until either they win, or the Promotion ends.Each Entrant is eligible to win only 1 pair of tickets. Winning Entrant’s names will be removed from the daily draw.

6) All tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. The Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize or reward (as applicable) of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances that 

are either unforeseen or beyond the Promoter’s control.  

7) Winner Selection: Winning Entrants will be selected at random by a computer process that produces verifiably random results. 

8) Winner Notification:  Winning Entrants will be contacted by email within 7 days of the of their name selected from the daily draw. If a Winning Entrant is not contactable or fails to respond to initial Winning Entrant notification within 7 days from the date of the initial notification, the pair of tickets that the Winning Entrant won may be reallocated by the Promoter to a reserve Winning Entrant also selected in the manner. Described in paragraph 7, above. If a reserve Winning Entrant is not contactable or fails to respond to initial reserve Winning Entrant notification within 7 days from the date of the initial notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and not contact further reserve Winning Entrants. 

9) Winners' of the daily draw have won the opportunity to attend YES Live, but only secure a ticket if a signed consent form is received to either of the addresses listed here, (and on the form) when the guest list is open. The signature must be that of the parent/guardian for the young person named on the form.  Receipt of a signed consent form operates on a 'first come, first served' basis, wherein once the guest list for YES Live is full,  it will be closed.  Winners who submit a signed form after the list is closed will not be able to attend YES Live

A Winning Entrant can bring a guest who is eligible to participate in an NCS Programme (i.e., a person who is 16 to 17 years old and has not previously registered for and attended an NCS Programme if the Winning Entrant provides the guest’s full name and contact details (email address  and phone number) and ensures that the Promoter receives a consent form signed by the guest’s parent/guardian prior to 11 March 2016. 

The Winning entrant and the guest must provide photo ID acceptable to the Promoter to the security staff at Roundhouse, the London venue for the NCS Live concert on 29 March 2016, in order to gain entry to the venue.

Please note that the Winning Entrant and the guest shall be responsible for their own transportation and meeting the cost of that transportation to the venue, and that, in accordance with paragraph 17, below, the Promoter shall not bear liability for the Winning Entrant or the guest prior to their entering the venue. 

General:

10) Winning Entrants of the NCS Yes Live tickets will be notified no later than four weeks prior to the event.  ALL NCS Yes Live Ticket Winning Entrants must provide photo ID to enter the venue. All winners and their parents/guardians must consent to the winners being 

filmed during the event.  

11) Winning Entrant publication: The full names and counties of confirmed winners will be available on request by email sent to an address to be made available at the time and for three months following the Closing Date.

12) The Winning Entrants agree to take part in publicity in connection with this Promotion. If a Winning Entrant or reserve Winning Entrant does not want their name to be published they should inform the Promoter when accepting their prize.  

13) Data Protection:  The Promoter will only use and retain the Winning Entrants’ Personal Data as set out in these Terms and Conditions , unless we have received consent for other purposes. Except as set out in these Terms and Conditions, the Winning Entrants’ Personal Data will at all times be kept confidential. 14) The decision of the Promoter is final in relation to all Promotional matters.

15) The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion.  

16) If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

17) The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the tickets, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

18) This Promotion and the Terms and Conditions that apply to it are subject to English law. The Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes in relation to this Promotion and the Terms and Conditions applied to it.

NCS ‘Run the Show’ 2016 Terms & Conditions

“Entrant(s)”: 2015 NCS Graduates (anyone who has participated in, and graduated from an NCS programme throughout 2015).    

“Promotion”:                                

1)      Eligibility:  This Competition is open only to 2015 NCS Graduate Entrants who are residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 16 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this Competition, who apply for Run the Show during the Competition Period (as defined below). 

2)      Competition Period:  on The period from 27th January 2016, when the competition opens, until 17th February 2016 when the Competition closes (“Closing Date”). 

3)      To enter:  Entrants must apply through the NCS website:

(i)    Online via http://yeslive.ncsyes.co.uk/run-the-show. The Entrant will be asked to give their first name, surname and email address, to confirm which work shadow position they are applying for, and describe what makes them suitable for it.

(ii)   A separate application is required for each role.  Any Entrant applying for more than one role is required to submit a new application for each.

(iii)  There is no limit on the number of roles that one  may apply for, but      each role is limited to one application per entrant.

(iv)  Only applications completed in full will be considered.

(v)   All fields are mandatory, except for ‘supporting links’. This field is optional.

(vi)  The information on the application submitted must be true and complete.  NCS reserves the right to confirm the validity of each application.

 

4)      NCS reserves the right to exclude any applications which are incomplete and/or contain incorrect information (contact details or otherwise) as well as any Entrant who submits multiple applications for the same role.

5)      By applying for Run the Show the Entrant consents to receiving further information from the Promoter for the purposes of this Competition, to having their contact details, including name, contact number and email address retained by the Promoter should their application be successful, to being contacted by the Promoter to be notified of their win and to confirm details and requirements for entry to YES Live for the purposes of participating in Run the Show, to the publication of their name and the county in which they live and to taking part in publicity in connection with this Competition.

6)      Upon validation of the Entrant’s eligibility to participate in this Competition, and once a complete and correct application has been submitted by the Entrant, the Entrant will be considered for the role to which the Entrant has applied.

7)      Selection Process:  Eligible applications will be reviewed by a panel with consideration being given to suitability, reason for, and level of interest, specific skills and personal attributes relevant to the role. The panel is made up of the Promoter’s staff and an independent professional relevant to the position under review.  All decisions of the panel are final. There will be no appeals, or negotiations once the 7 placements have been assigned.

8)      Winning Entrants are not permitted to transfer their placement under any circumstances.

9)      Winner Notification:  Only winning Entrants will be contacted. Using the details provided on the application form, winning Entrants, in the first instance, will be contacted by email, and failing confirmed contact, by phone no later than 2 weeks after the close of the Closing Date.

10)   If a winning Entrant is not contactable or fails to respond to initial winning Entrant notification within 7 days from the date of the initial notification, or cancels  or fails to return a signed consent form before March 11th, the work shadow prize at NCS YES Live 2016 will be withdrawn from that winning Entrant and may be reallocated by the Promoter to a reserve winning Entrant also selected in the manner described above. If a reserve winning Entrant is not contactable, despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours, or fails to respond to initial reserve winning Entrant notification within 7 days from the date of the initial notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and not contact further reserve winning Entrants.

11)   All winning Entrants from whom the prize is not withdrawn and who appear at the venue on the day (“Successful Entrants”) will be classified as ‘working personnel’ at YES Live and be issued with a ‘Crew Pass’ on the day.

12)   Participation: For the purposes of participating in Run the Show, all winning Entrants must return a parental consent form signed by the winning Entrant’s parent/guardian that is received at either of the addresses below no later than 01 March 2016.

The Successful Entrants will not be entitled to any payment or other compensation in respect of being filmed during the event and the resulting footage being used publicly by the Promoter.

15)   Winning Entrant publication: The names and counties of Successful Entrants will be available on request by email sent to an address to be made available at the time and for three months following the Closing Date.

16)   The Successful Entrants agree to take part in publicity in connection with this Promotion.  If a Successful Entrant does not want their name to be published they should inform the Promoter when accepting their prize. 

17)   Data Protection:  The Promoter will only use and retain the Entrants’ Personal Data as set out in our Terms and Conditions, unless we have received consent for other purposes. 22)   The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Competition or accepting or using the prizes or tickets, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury and death due to negligence and fraud).

23)   This Competition and our Terms and Conditions that apply to it are subject to English law.  The Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes in relation to this Promotion and the Terms and Conditions applied to it.
